I wanted but I couldnt get my ass up and go to the cinema, now the idea to wait 3 months and download a rip is seeming better which shouldnt, its not good, I should go to the cinema
I guess its a good one, it deserves to be watched at the cinema

I thought it was dreadfully mediocre.
Sure, it has some good bits, and it's mostly entertaining, but it's not wacky or wild enough to justify the length. The film lacks in overall artistic merit, which is REALLY disappointing for a Tarantino film. Not a bad film, just a mediocre one.

i thought it was absolutely brilliant, a triumph of substance and style, a critique of the artist and the audience that does not recognize they are participants, and a powerful spotlight on the human tendency to manufacture and embrace heroic effigies. and so much more...
i'm not a student of film, and even i appreciated its honest dissection of 20th century film.
it's positively driven by powerful ideas, and anyone who tells you that it's just a stylish, hyperviolent cartoon or tarantino as usual has missed the fucking boat, and remains 500-600 miles inland.
at least, that's how i see it.

well i'm not saying that you're right or wrong, but a friend once really recommended me to watch the "Shawshank Redemption", a film which is almost unanimously held in high regard by critics. This same friend however also really recommended Alien Vs. Predator...saying it was amazing n stuff. I'm not saying he's right or wrong, but, you know, sometimes people can be off the mark.
its not that i don't like tarintino, and i haven't seen this film, but i don't feel particularly compelled to either. i'm just not sure what the point of tarantino is anymore.
the shawshank redemption

I disagree. It wants to be everything you are describing it as but I found it so soulless that I felt completely uninvolved. It was overly preachy, pretentious and in places just plain dull. It needed about half an hour shaved off of it and a reworking of its structure. Why is there a half an hour exposition scene and introduction of a character just as the story is building up to the conclusion? It removes all the momentum from the film by stopping the story dead in its tracks. There is a decent film in here but its too messy. Tarantino needs to get someone working with him who will tell him when to calm down and focus otherwise he'll be making self indulgent tripe like this and Death Proof until people give up going to see his films.

It is quite funny in places though and the few minutes of violence are very nicely done.
