hello freqy, yes it was definately the wisdom one, i didnt
know that. it was my first exctraction, and i was the first
patient operated by that doctor after he come back from
holiday, and it was the first time for me to go there. they
were, both the receptionist and the doctor, true artist in
psicologically dealing with me, i felt in safe hands and
cuddled by their words that sounded like they had long time
dental experience. they numbed me several times in several
points around the faulty tooth so the anaesthesia was
protracted for fifteen, maybe twenty minutes? i can't
remember really, my eyes were fixed on the number 2882
stamped on the neon lamp above me, and the period seemed to
be much shorter than it actually was.

i forgot to add that they told me not to smoke for 72 hours
to avoid the wound to get infected, i told them that it
wasn't possible cos my tobacco addiction so they asked me if
i could not smoke until tomorrow at least. i said fair deal,
more than two hours are passed and more than two fags have
been smoked.

I only ever had 1 wisdom tooth grow in, some people
apparently have none. Didn't really mind having it in but
the dentist said it had to go. At least I didn't have 4 like
my sister.

Had three out so far. The first time i went (to get two
extractions) was horrid. They made a real mess of it all. I
came home my face all bloody and swollen with tears in my
eyes. I changed dentist and it went fine for the third.
Still need to get the 4th one out.

glad it didnt hurt man owwch you were awake them !! ,wooo
freaky!! .

i wish you had took your dentists advice on the 72hrs.
because you would realise around that time that the
addicition diminishes dramatically and your mind gets a true
feel as to what its all about ( you mind starts to build a
bypass circuit to the nicotein addiction) its rather awesome
to experience. like after you lift a heavy weight a few
times ...eventually you think..."this is a piece of cake!! "
except this cake adds 25-30 years of good health to your
life!!

sorry i cant help but mention this type of thing , smoking
nearly killed me and did kill many in my family . so if i
find the opportunity to help anyone reading, i feel i have
too even tho it seems a bit boring or annoying , i feel it
helps people in the long run that the craving only gets
intense for the first few days after giving up, it actually
goes away, I never think to smoke now , its like when you
were a kid before you smoked , you just don't think about it
! peace : P

maybe they take them out to dumb us down? .....those teeth
might be used by the brain to processes and store
information with great insight. ...They extract them so we
work in factories for the beastly people that allow us to
poison our world.!

I had my back 4 teeth pulled when I got braces many years
ago, so my wisdom teeth had room to move in. It's really
gross when you look at the tooth right as they pull it out
and it looks like its 10 feet long.

Man that's piss easy! Just smash your teeth to bits and have
any remains removed. Refused to get fixed up or wear fakes,
and voila! Suck heaven.

I'm 28 so i feel a bit silly getting braces, but if i want
straight teeth, that is the best way. getting veneers would
be the easy way out, but it's pricey. mind you getting these
new style of braces are not cheap either. you can get clear
ones which you can't notice so much

No larn,youre not too old.
You should do whatever makes you feel better about
yourself.
:)
And youre right about the braces being really high tech and
not as noticable these days.
When I was a kid mine was like scaffolding.I used to get
called 'cheesegrater'...Thats when I wasnt being called
'skinnymalinkylonglegs'
Man,school sucked.
