If so,thats the best part of an otherwise tedious film.

you talking about the one by scorsese?

i didn't like it very much. i remember it as a retread of
taxi driver's theme. now taxi driver, that's a good movie.
might be scorsese's best imo.

I hate the opinion that it is a retread of taxi driver, I
believe it is much better than taxi driver.

Coincidentally I watched this again recently. A bit dull in
parts but a well directed film In my opinion. 5/10
