in your life when you have nothing to look forward to and
life doesn't seem worth living?

My one day off a week is next Friday, so I won't have had
any time off my full-time job for 11 days. :( That means no
chance to go to town and buy food, because town is far away
and there are no frequent buses. Taxis are £8 one way. I
have hardly any money...

Maybe it sounds grandiose to say my life isn't worth living,
but because I am working all the time I need something to
give me an incentive to keep on going and I don't have
anything.

The only thing that does keep me going is the thought that
my last working day is 10th Sept. Quite soon, but a few
weeks from now.

Sorry for bitching, but I am really not happy right now.

If you are having a shit time, tell me about it and I will
try to make you feel a bit better too.

Empty, desperate and alone. I wanted to blame everyone,
anyone but the one person whose fault it really was.
Me.

Hey Tractern-I was gonna write a long, rambling reply about
long hours, little pay and less thanks but that wouldnt have
made either of us feel any better.
Keep your chin up,stay positive and laugh often.
Bad days are just that-days,they wont last for ever.

Yeah, that is true. Here especially, due to the spilt shifts
2.5 hours on, 2.5 off from 7am-7PM, days go quickly. So,
yeah- time will pass quickly and I will be home before I
know it, I s'pose.

So what do you for a living, atwood?

most people i know work to pay for a car to get them to work
to pay for the car to get them to work. ...pay for food to
charge themselves for work...pay for baths to clean
themselves after work. then spend 7-8 hrs sleeping to
recharge themselves for work. work? working toward what? a
happy clean planet? Noooo working in a greed system which
appears to be heading us all to a very dangerous future.

in between feeding cleaning recharging for work they have
about an hour to themselves which is spent in escapism
(mainly tv and drinking) so to try and forget they gotta be
up for work before their bodies really wanna get up.

pay to talk to each other ( phones)
pay to move fro a- b ( cars road tax insane dirty fuel costs
)
Pay to see !! lights, cause when you get home from work "ITS
DARK!!!"
pay for water that falls...from the sky!!...then pay to
drain it away too!!
born with no entitlement to land,so have to pay for space
...SPACE to live !! in this EMMENSE EVER GROWING UNIVERSE

soon we will have to pay for clean air too. i already have
to pay for a filter mask on my bike cause of the SHIT that
comes out the billion cars needed to get the billions into
this filthy greedy earth employment system .

tax tax tax tax tax on everything ...cause the government
are crooked controlled by multinationalism and totaly
inefficient toward ZERO goals to make everyone happy.
EVER!

They drain as much as they can out of the people without a
riot
control them to build extra materials needed to build the
defence bunkers needed for when world war 3 starts.

hey look the suns come out! :P oh damn, can i afford to
use the sun today?...let me check my bank account. oh phew
its 2009 that day has yet to come.

i'm happy really , just, we mustn't forget that many people
are in pain, would it not be nice for a government target to
one day make everyone happy!? They never say anything like
that. Even if that target is very far in the future...at
least point out that we are aiming for a happy healthy
sustainable world. Rather than an economically strong state.

It makes me happy to hear it, cos i can imagine myself being
in that position at some point in the future, which is like
an incentive for the shit I am going through right now.

Glad everything is good with you, fella. What is the
festival you're going to? Who is playing there?

'Work' as we know it really is just the most souless,
non-human thing I can ever imagine. Worker ants. Just think
of our ancestors luggung rocks on their backs or working
down coal mines for 10 hours. Fucking hell...the powers that
be really fucked up something that had the most beautiful
potential didn't they?

And we're told this is the way society has to be. Like we're
some naiive schoolchildren gazing, accepting a mundane
truth. Fucking bullshit. If anyones up for starting that
revolution any day now...I'm so with you. I'm down. I'll die
for it.

Scrap that. What if everyone just said, I'm not going to
work this morning. I'm going to grow some fresh produce in
my back yard. Then we could parade the streets with the
queens head on a stick.
