religion is selfish in every way. religious people are defined as good or bad; split between those who believe and follow a moral code and the fundamentalist - with all the fakes and liars in between (the vast majority). in reality, they all stink. by simply partaking in religious thinking the so-called moral man is feeding and fuelling the fundamentalist. on their own terms, religious people are not morally repugnant. they behave themselves for fear of being punished or, rather, NOT being rewarded. there's no altruism in religious thinking whatsoever. on an intellectual basis it's completely redundant; with millions of morons claming philosophies as fact without a single shred of supporting evidence.
