whats the point in playing this when the music is absolutely
fucking terrible?

what's the point in playing anything BUT the original sonic
games?

i love the original sonic
the only downfall was the split screen 2 player game in
sonic 2 where everything went real slow
sonic is so cool

i dont get super hard games. whenever i see someone playin a
super hard game they always seem real angry. arent games
supposed to be fun. if you like the feeling of
accomplishment why dont you challenge yourself with
something that actually helps the world like inventing a
better power source or building a house for poor poeple

yup. the fact he was a covert part of my childhood (AGAIN)
disgusts me. turn it off and turn up the tuss. tuss didnt
fuck no kids (but cure a weakling child does make me
wonder....)

MJ was working on the soundtrack, got canned for general
scandalousness, some of his tracks probably made it
into the game, but he was never credited.

the main evidence is that several of the levels that sounded
like MJ had different music in the PC version.

thats weird though the music in this version feels slightly
different. slightly sped up / transposed up a note or two.

probably shitty emulation.

i don't understand it though. if the genesis / megadrive is
anything like the N.E.S., for the music to be changed they'd
have to use something like xpmck, (basically writing songs
in a text file), and the songs would have to take up the
exact same amount of space on a cartridge. and the way that
shit works, it's probably impossible (i think) to rip a song
out, convert it, slightly change it in xpmck or some other
music language, and put it back in the game.

i wonder if its possible their coding for the ROM itself
somehow fucked up something integral to the music code.

well its faster. the whole thing is transposed. the main
thing is that the midi patterns have been swapped (but not
actually changed). i know nothing about how all this works
but i thought it was strange too. the geez who is making it
hasnt said anything about editing the music, only levels and
palettes.
