[tech] screen problem?

I'm sorry i'm really useless when it comes to computer
technical issues, but what does this wierd gradation mean on
my screen? It can be seen in the attatched picture. The drop
shadow is gradated (not smoothly rendered) and so are most
other images. It's like my screen resolution changed from
Jpeg to Gif. That's the best i can explain. Is it just a
setting i may have messd with on accident, or is my computer
starting to die out on me?

I'll also add that my computer has been on for probably
about a month without rest. is that a possibility, just a
poor performance?

Looks like it's in 16bit color, maybe change the video
settings to 32bit? I don't know how it is in OSX.

It looks like i was right, i turned my computer off for
about 2 hours, turned it on and now it's not like that
anymore.

I also just saw inglorious basterds, what a crazy movie.

if it turns monochrome in a few days, run!

But no, it's colordepth setting, check those in your
configuration

yeah, i think for some odd reason, when i was running KiGB
(gameboy emulator) it changes the screen's resolution/color
settings. I'm pretty ure that was all that it was

Yeah my emulators like to do that to when I put them into
full screen
either they fuck with the screen res or turns it down to
16bit

I recently got a tamagotchi emulator haha
