hi most you guys prob have a vynilz, flac and a very high
bitrate mp3 of your fave tunes with a back up and no more ,
maybe some of you might be untidy like me and don't like
deleting files, but collect and usually just buy another
drive when it gets full? personally ive got so many ive lost
count and they all over shop. gigs of programs from version
1 to 10 ...plug ins ergg its horrid such a waste and so
much noise with so many drives on.( waste of power too and
all that heat etc etc...)

so its time to get brutal and get organised.

progs to delete duplicate files.

it might be you have many versions of windowlicker the same
version but at different bit rates with slightly diffrently
spelt titles ( afex twins windows licker.mp3 or aphexy
twines windoz licker.mp3 etc...)

so im trying a few progs today ...and will post my fave.

You're a horder. I never have more than 200 MP3s on my hard
drive. When I reach 201, I simply delete the track I like
least from the other 200.

Oh yeah, u better believe it. i'm so tidy. I put my bone in
the cupboard alongside the fibre cereals and everything!

delete duplicate files program has listed all mp3's at the
exact same size artist extension and allows for a slightly
different name. so has done a pretty good job.

B-stard!!!! ( yes freqy swore)

i highlight all the duplicates and think: mmm? i wonder how
many gig i will free up and click properties.....all of a
sudden a trillon panels start appearing giving propperties
for each mp3 ...and i have to delete each one
individually..

then ...nnnnn.... demo mode wont let you delete your
duplicates you have to register first...so i register and
then it resets and have to rescan the f++"ing
drives....hahahha .... erh

wow I runed double killer and there was about 30 tracks
doblicates
