can see a familiar pattern in this, but i noticed a few
notes sounded out, but maybe that's intentional

are you using a midi controller?

A midi controller's used for the melodies, and the beat's
arranged on its own.

What's the pattern you're referring to?

I can hear sound coming through , for example if i heard one
of your songs on the radio i might be able to identify it as
yours just by how the notes are arranged. which is a good
thing. however there was a part in which i found the notes
were slightly out of tune, or these rather these notes don't
sit well together, hard to explain. but then i am not a
musician so i don't really know

Thanks, larn.

I suppose I've listened to these melodies far too many times
to be able to hear if some of the notes are out of tune. And
I'm not a musician either (even though I tried to make it
sound like a 'real' piano, so to speak). I'll check the
editor and see if I can figure something out. But thanks.

It's not out of tune, it's just notes that don't go with the
scale you are using. Adding to that is the boring
traditional instrumentation that makes the 'wrong' notes all
the more obvious. I'm off for a piss.

harsh ^
make the beats louder and dirty up the piano sound. then you
have a formula.
goodnight

But it's supposed to be traditional. Using filters and other
electronic gimmickry to hide stuff behind it wasn't the
point. There's no pressure or motivation without a
challenge. A piano's as challenging as can be. It's direct.

Thanks for listening.

I've listened to it on loudspeakers and if I would make the
beat louder it would drown the rest out. Perhaps I need to
do both (beat, piano). Thanks.

It may be a challenge for you to make music with a piano
noise but that's not an excuse.
