Wtf happened to Andrew Mckenzie? Is he alive? Is he still
the same winy bitch who fell victim to socialism?

Has he put out more music (most importantly)?

I was thinking this earlier. If he died I don't think he
would've wanted anyone to know.

Also, can you elaborate on the 'victim to socialism'
comment?

die stadt posted a while ago that he was still working on
the next ae h30 dvd (sept 09 release). I get the impression
that his illness has slowed him a bit but he's still going.

Two minutes in and you've already got a nibble. You're good.

A written statement by a friend of his, or something like
that:
***
In addition, he was recently blind-sided by a residency
situation in Iceland, his home of many years, that prevents
his seeking social benefits that should be his, as a
taxpayer into the Icelandic social welfare system. This
situation also prevents employers in Iceland from
offering him any sort of job.

Being out of his country of origin, the U.K., for many
years, to seek treatment there would mean waiting years
in order to be readmitted into their system. It would
also mean abandoning the ongoing pursuit of his social
rights in Iceland, where he still has a chance to regain
his standing.
***

He lived in, and payed into, socialized medicine in the UK,
and yet receives none of the benefits. Ever since Iceland's
economy collapsed because of state-regulated banking, they
have been unable to provide care for him. Because state
medicine is basically the only option for all but the super
wealthy in both of those countries, buying private care is
absolutely out of the question. In other words, he is victim
to regulation of government, distorted markets, and
unnecessarily high inflation rates.

Sorry, got my syntax wrong.

Surely Bang is the best place to start? Thirsty Fish is a
spiral into hell as far as I'm concerned.
