I liked that last one I heard better. This one sounds ok
when you've already heard it a couple times, but kinda
awkward on the first listen with notes kinda seeming
non-chord-ish I guess, not that I have a clue about music
'theory'. Here's a remix using music crap theory in A minor
(I guess) with a 1-5-4 'chord structure' or some gay butt
piss like that:

This is pretty nice. Very naiive and child-like sounding.
That reminds me! I watched 'Earthsea' FINALLY on sunday. It
was really enjoyable. It was kind of obvious that it was a
first script, and that Miyazaki's son is greatly influenced
by his father. But it was pretty good in its own right. Well
worth a watch.

Now bring on 'Ponyo'! Althoug it worries me that Miley
Cyrus's younger sister, and the youngest Jonas Brother voice
main characters. WTF~!

I don't think there's any chords at all in this track,
infact. The main melody is, according to the piano roll
editor in the program, mainly between C6 and C8, if I
understand this correctly. I tried to get the bass as deep
as possible without sounding weird because the bass fits
with the drums (I think). Basically I tried to construct the
whole track to sound good when played loud (finally managed
to connect the laptop to the speakers), and arranged the
bass notes thereafter.

I have another track that I've uploaded to zebox, but which
I never posted here. It's a huge jumbled mess when you look
at the piano editor, and I almost always go by ear, so I
have no idea at all if it's arranged as it should. If you're
interested, you can listen to it here. I reckon
you really have to have four hands to be able to play it on
a real piano.

Thanks for the remix. It's very touching. It's my second
remix from you now. :)

Thanks, man.

Ah, yes, Earthesa. They've shown it on tv (pay television) a
couple of times, but I've really never had the time to see
it. I've noticed that they show Evangelion in the US,
but the trailer has these awful dubbed voices, and I can't
get my head around why they didn't choose someone who's
actually a teenager to voice Shinji. As it is now, it's
almost laughable. Someone called it 'elitistic' to bash
about dubs, but whoever has first watched, say, GITS in
english, and then in japanese, ought to see that the
difference are miles long. Oshii even said: "they can speak
the line, but they couldn't emote".

But, yes, hopefully Ponyo'll show up soon.

"they can speak
the line, but they couldn't emote".

Haha, oh man, so true of so many Mangas. And the 30 year old
man voices for the teen characters haha. So typical. Fuck
elitism, its common sense! Is 'Evangelion' related to 'Neon
Genesis Evangelion', I've seen the film of that but not the
series. Film was OK.

'Evangelion 1.0' and 'Neon Genesis Evangelion' are basically
the same thing. They're going to release four new films, a
kind of reimagining on the original Neon Genesis Evangelion
series. The first film covers basically the first six eps
(of 26) of the series, and the fourth film will be something
entirely new.

I recommend the series + the alternative ending 'End of
Evangelion'. If you thought the film was ok, you'll love the
series.
