this is really nice. love the sparseness and the lush
reverbs.

The thwack at 3:44 made me spill my tea. I think Ae and tBd
should make a whole album of this. This is Instant Classic
material.

its too long and the drums are kinda crap plus i dont really
get what the attraction of the fucked up melodics are :P

I love the second half, really feeling this melody.

sounds best with the vol high and the bass turned up

has anyone else problems with bleep downloads? first track
is only 25 seconds long, suck fuck.

I'm a busy man, my work is very important and i'm currently
involved in some very serious activities which involves my
complete indevided attention. So a new autechre or aphex
release would need to be put on hold for several months i
would imagine. But I will get round to them eventually

Concentrate your 'indevided' attention somewhere nice.

it's really good... i like the crookes mix a lot too

i as well had trouble with bleep and the first track being
25 seconds long, i had to get track 1 again through other
means, which was annoying...

damn :( i have failed, the truth is I can't afford the
single and I have so much time on my hands i'm having and
existential crisis :((

the .wav version? like srsly, a bunch of untagged wavs
without 'artwork', of which one is corrupted. is this 1999?

the ae remix is the best ae track ever.

vinyl ordered ...

offline staz on 2009-08-05 06:41 [#02312345]

coax already hates it, what is an Autechre release without
massive coax praise?

offline Steinvordhosbn from London (United Kingdom) on 2009-08-05 06:44 [#02312348]
Points: 3185 Status: Regular | Followup to staz: #02312345 | Show recordbag

No no it's fine, it's all on course. Coax will initially
dislike it and then over a series of handwringing, torturous
threads of soul searching and "do I like this?" will
eventually conclude it's "almost as good as anything on
Draft" and then release several "albums" worth of material
inspired by the remix.

I can't stop to listen to "Tripside Syndicate" and then the
Ae mix and then start again over. Once I hear Ae's take on
"What is House (LFO mix)" I'm not going to listen to any
more music.

i'm feeling like the melodic elements are some of the best
parts. it's nice to hear ae involved in something now that
gets a lush as this does.

damnit, it got delayed? The vinyl order that is, to back
August

yeah, got the email the other day.

weird though, there's no mention of the delay on The Black
Dog website :(

i hope we get a freebie, but i doubt it :(

i doubt we'll get anything. ever since WarpMart was
swallowed whole by Bleep, they've been pretty stingy with
freebies.

Times were that you could order something from Warp and
you'd at least get a sticker, or postcard or something.

i'll have to double check, but i'm pretty sure that they've
debited the money from my account too.

offline AMPI MAX from United Kingdom on 2009-08-08 14:31 [#02313196]

aww this is shit. they say PLEASE DONT STEAL THE MUSIC! but
they dont make it worth your while

my point is that the little freebie stickers and things like
that were nice touches that (at least to me) said that Warp
appreciated the fans who bought items direct from them
instead of buying from other retailers.

Regardless of whether it was cheaper elsewhere, i would
pretty much always buy from Warp because it seemed like
those little freebies were "thank yous" from Warp.

instead we're thanked with a crappy new Wordpress blog for
the website, no B12 on Warp20, and no freebies :(

i'm gonna go slit my wrists now while listening to something
appropriately emo

I was just thinking that myself, sounds very mid-to-late
nineties era. Which was of course siiiiiiiick

they did from mine too so they better give me my record

But Bleep are nice though imo, i ordered the Hudson Mohawke
LP recently, and i got the CD. So i messaged them, and they
basically went "Oh crap! Sorry :( Keep the CD, the vinyl is
on the way now..".

But then it arrived with a ripped topside in the sleeve,
like the vinyl had sliced through it like a saw. Which was a
downstiger, but nonetheless nice customer service.

just fyi i checked out the original tunnel ov set, and its
almost exactly the same.
ae basically just took the drums, didnt do shit, and mangled
the synths a bit on top.
lame if you ask me
