Do you want to play against other people(I hope so, its the best way to play)? Chess.com has a good live chess app. Get an account @www.freechess.org and play using either the JIN interface(there is a java applet version on the www.freechess.org website). If you are using windows, the best interface to play chess is Babaschess and you can connect to your FICS account(freechess.org) and play using that. If you want to play correspondance games(slow, submit a move, go to next game style), I would try gameknot, chess.com, or redhotpawn. |

When I want a quick game versus a computer opponent, I go . It's just a simple Java Applet. If you want the easiest level (and fastest gameplay), click Settings and under "Fixed time" put 1 (second). |
