ive lately made bookmarks in my mind consciously of events i like as they are happening and why i like them.
later when i pull out the memory, the content of why i liked the event is gone, and has been replaced with a kind of illusory nostalgia thats not very specific.
is there any way i can go back in time to relive that event in 3d?
also, this feels kind of melancholic to go through old times with my parents..

You have to fly around the sun faster than the speed of light, you'll know when you've gone back in time when the CGI effects look dated.

memories are mostly feelings and they change with you over time. this has a function, just like it has a function that you can't remember pain (for obvious reasons). the function might be that memories are more applicable that way, because they are molded into that higher applicability by the feelings of the newer you.
if you try to store memories like 3d pictures, like if you were a computer, you are left with useless bits. because memories aren't designed to be 3d pictures

essentially all your suggestions worked. i can feel time and space not like an external constant, but as an internal lump, ready to be molded.
the eternal gardens of our memories are now under my direct observational jurisdiction. i see all

This is only partially related, but certain things I associate together if I was doing them at the same time. For instance, certain albums I listened to a lot while playing a certain game or reading a certain book. It is more than just being reminded of it when I listen to that music, tho. It is a sensation almost like deja vu or something, like part of you feels like you did then, or like you are partially there again. Sounds obvious when typed out but it seems more profound when experienced..

Yep i know what you mean.. The problem is that it disappears after say, 10 years or less..
Some old songs and events i had no longer are as relevant to me.
just feels kind of sad.

that's so sci-fi. Imagine grand images of space and nebulas and star clusters and a really deep voice saying that. The eternal gardens... It's like the intro of an old 70s sci-fi series.
