Today I checked behind the bin outside our kitchen door and found the rank, brown, sodden remnants of this 'XLTRONIC' forum. Flies were hopping around on its 'aphex twin community' logo, and one or two stalwart maggots were still logging into its empty putrid eye sockets. A dead slug had streaked its rank slime over the forum's fur, earwigs skittled around the thread about 'pomme de terre' being pushed by Squarepusher, and a dark brown outline of dried pus indicated where the forum's point had once been. I scraped the remaining 24 users into a black bin liner, tied the top, and dropped the stinking sack at arm's length into our council bin. |
