I'm telling you man i'm fucking up here, the heat is
getting to me, I want to edit a video but i can't get this
shit to work. I just installed it and for some reason i
can't play avi files, it's as if the software is not talking
to my video playback ....

any one here know about how to set this up?

I've used final cut pro for two and half months on a mac,
but I'm not skilled enough on different formats.

I'll meet some folks though (hopefully this week), who knows
this kind of thing. If you haven't figured out till then, I
could ask them.

check the audio/video devices settings. and just do a
google search. thats ho wi figure out my final cut problems.

I just worked out that I am using an older version 5.0.2
which is not supported on my macbook pro, so i need to get a
newer version . thanks
