Nithonat

D16 group have done their classic roland drum machine thing
again. This time they made a 606 of all things. I don't know
why they chose that drum machine, but everything else
they have made has been high quality.

Their interface work always stands out. Its always very
authentic looking, and keeping it simple even though they
add a few substantial features. Unlike a lot of the other
manufacturers who try to make authentic looking interfaces
but only make them ugly and cluttered (looking at you
Admiral Quality).

Sound quality in each of their other products has always
been very high. I am hoping that this is just as good as all
their others.

If anyone has tried this and has any input I would be glad
to see what you have to say. Expecting good things.

I have a few tracks on my myspace site that use it -
the third track down is probably the clearest .
It sounds nice, very metallic hi hats. Very punchy kick.
sweet snare.

Not entriely authentic, but is a very nice machine
especially when put through some tubes.

oh great, an emulation of a modification of a perfectly good
monstrous Roland TR-606

Been using their Nepheton for a while and love it. Thinking
of selling my drumstation because it's just gathering dust
due to these d16 releases.

Not played with the Nithonat yet because I've still got an
original 606 but no doubt it'll be superb.

Sounds nice specially the HH and the snare, didn't like the
toms much.

I remember when audiorealism announced the ADM while D16's
where working on the Nepheton, people didn't give D16 any
credit back then, funny how things turned out, D16's plugs
are the very best out there.
