yeah so ive started thinking; tv says that everyones got troubles. i dont doubt for a second that theres nuffteen hundred people who have been through some REAL shit, but it seems that most folks havn't actually got things that make them feel really horrible. most people may have standard problems but very few are as chronically head fucked as i imagined. ppl, im asking you to share some pain. tell me all about your pain ill be kind. |

are you saying my music is self involved because im not afraid to post a bunch on here? i know it may seem like that to people.. but the truth is, yeah i like my music, but its not like i dont see its flaws or have aspirations to become better. there are many albums by other artists i consider aeons beyond anything ive ever made. and tbh, i used to be self involved, when all i did was sit around all day with the sequencer, but nowadays i do a lot of other stuff and sitting down on the computer now i can focus my creative inspiration for a couple hours and then drop it after im done. that way im more focused and my creativity is more potent i reckon. i think of my music just like any other music, it can take me away to places and get me emotionally involved for hours on end, but in the end it is only music, its not everything. i do think any artist needs to get involved and see a vision though. they have to be passionate about their output, whether it be movies, music or paintings. i think people can sense this passion when they view/listen to the output and im not going to apologize for that to anyone, even if people think of it as self involved.. |
