"On June 1, movie-maker David Lynch will present Interview
Project, a 121-part documentary series featuring 3-5 minute
portraits of a ordinary (and sometimes extraordinary)
Americans from all over the country.

Commissioned by Lynch, and compiled by a team of filmmakers
who criss-crossed the states gathering dozens of personal
histories, the series -- to be premiered every three days
throughout the year until next June."

Sounds interesting actually. I like this kind of stuff. I
don't know if it'll cost money to see the episodes, though.
Anyway, here is a preview of one of the episodes.

Lynch is my favorite director, he has a real passion for art
and creativity, this should be very interesting

I'll show a Lynch movie for two girls this evening. Which
should I choose? Mulholland Dr. for the inspiring lesbian
couch action?

I think mulholland drive would be a good one yeah, or maybe
lost highway

Eraserhead all the way

Beside Twin Peaks, Lost Highway is my favourite in his
oeuvre, but as for a starter, not only for the lesbian
make-out, I'll probably choose Mulholland Dr.

will never see through your ploy

Watch "Rabbits" and have the three of you sit uncomfortably
in your own personal hells.

i like that hell is personalized and not just the same for
everyone, pizza hut do the same thing

I imagine one makes one's own hell, and who said that
there's no comraderie in Hell, that those complicit in your
actions just screamed at each other for leading them down
this darkened path whilst they broiled in... piss I suppose.
I'd like to make a good film about Hell though I couldn't
top "Rabbits" or that bit in Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure
when the devil says "Choose your eterntity" but when I get
there I'll attempt to send a note back.

As long as he adds some spooky industrial music or a few
nanosecond's worth of creepy cut scenes I don't mind.

It's weird I enjoy watching Mulholland Drive, I have no idea
what's going on but the scenes are catchy as is the acting..
I like the dialogue and cinematics but the story goes
completely over my head, but this doesn't stop me from
enjoying it.

I have never read a mulholland drive theory by a fan, nor an
analysis, and I kind of don't want to either, I just like
having my own version.

Quite different genres according to imdb. "Drama/Romance",
and, well, anything with Jason Statham has basically action
in it...

Reckon I should see the Crank 1, before the second?

Why David Lynch Turned Down 'Return of the Jedi'

as always, lynch has a crackin sense of humour

yes, lynch is very funny. personally i think twin peaks is
one of the funniest tv shows ever created. but i suppose his
humour is an acquired taste....

best. scene. ever:

i don't like Mulholland Drive as much as i used to, watched
it a couple of times and figured out how linear and straight
forward the plot is... kind of ruined the magic for me since
I like his more abstract, experience sort of movies.
