 | How many of you have heard the record, "Drum 'n' Bass for Papa?" What are your thoughts? I downloaded it and burnt
it to CD-Rs. Not sure how I feel about it. Some of the
songs seem to not go anywhere, and I can't say I'm
especially fond of that. There are some gems, though. It's
a good record, but I think a few cuts here and there
would've really improved it as a whole.

 | I've heard about half of it. Considering it's some of first Drum 'n' Bass made, or so I've heard, I respect it for the
 time it was made in.

 | I enjoy AK1200 and Dj Hype and the Art of Noise dnb collection is pretty good also. Roni Size sucks, dont waste
 your time or money btw.

 | Ack, yah--Roni Size is junk. I think the Roni Size track on the Pi soundtrack is their (his?) best work, sadly.

 | the Plug double Cd in the USA is well worth the money... if you mean it sounds dated because it isnt fast drill and
bass, well, its not that style anyway, different and
 excellent

 | I don't think it sounds dated, I just think some of the songs are too long for his style or maybe just don't click
with me for some reason. The first disc I love, the second
one seems strangely foreign to me.

 | The second disc is a compilation of early ep's (I think). I don't throw either of the CD's on very often. It's just
kinda boring stuff. Once in a while I'll put it on as
 background music though.
