Aphex at YOUR funeral

Organ Grinder from my own little fantasy world on 2001-06-18 18:09 [#00010182]

Okay, ppls, here's a question to wet your mental whistle:

If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, and you had to
plan your funeral, what APhex song would you have played at
your funeral?

For me, it'd have to either "Cliffs," "Matchsticks," or
"Pancake Lizard." Probably all of them.

Justin Schiz from Stamford, Ct., USA on 2001-06-18 18:11 [#00010185]

for me: Windowlicker

Adikt on 2001-06-18 18:20 [#00010196]

i hav acutally been thinkin aobut this a lot recently, wid
the death of my best mate. i was asked which song should be
played and it made me think wot i'd hav at mine.

probaly windowlicker

Justin Schiz from Stamford, Ct., USA on 2001-06-18 18:21 [#00010198]

Justin Schiz from Stamford, Ct., USA on 2001-06-18 18:23 [#00010199]

cd

Justin Schiz from Stamford, Ct., USA on 2001-06-18 18:24 [#00010201]

ufo orb..freak out the peeps, then o.o.b.e..while everyone
leaves, at the after do, i would have mostly primal scream
and more orb for people to cheer up and relax and cheer up.

Justin Schiz from Stamford, Ct., USA on 2001-06-18 18:29 [#00010207]

SWAI from Denmark on 2001-06-18 19:13 [#00010228]

I would like Nine inch nails "la mer" played at my funeral,
quite seriusly.

Starring at the sea
will she come?
is there hope for me
after all this said and done
anything at any time
all of this for you
all the spoils of a wasted life
all of this for you

I WILL TAKE MY PLACE IN THE GREAT BELOW!!!!

Justin Schiz from Stamford, Ct., USA on 2001-06-18 19:15 [#00010230]

um dude, that song is "The Great Below"

Japes from London on 2001-06-18 20:29 [#00010241]

I've been thinking about this too.

One of the following by Aphex:
* Film
* 4
* Boy/Girl Song
* ("Rhubarb")
* IZ-US

And also an Erik Satie tune. I don't know which one.
Probably Clemenine (or a name like that, I can't remember
what it is right now).

nekta killa from in a bin on 2001-06-18 21:25 [#00010245]

Parallel Stripes, Cliffs or Lichen ....no i just listen the
whole album .....

Freaky AFX / PCP fan. on 2001-06-18 21:30 [#00010248]

Why not let Aphex Twin play a live-set at your funeral?

Now that's pretty cool. Aaight.
But then again. You have to miss it, because you're dead.

map from CH on 2001-06-18 21:32 [#00010249]

spiritualized Fucked up inside...

Aron? from Canada on 2001-06-18 23:21 [#00010276]

Well the Aphex song would probally be Flim.

But if I could choose any song it would definetly be Amazing
Grace by Dropkick Muphys!

I would like to rest with Purcell - Thy Hand Belinda but if
its Aphex...Bummy, Raising The Titanic - remix, Seefeel -
Time To Find Me (AFX Slow Mix) all 9 damn minutes, Soft
Ballet - Sand Lowe (Polygon Window Remix), err..i guess i
should do something more appropriate like Blue Calx, Rhubarb
and Stone In Focus
