Does anyone know anything this guy? I saw quite a lot of cds by him and they all have this IDM look to them? I have one song by him called Movement 33 Study A (something to that extent) which was pure ambience. Does he do ambience or what? Any info would be nice.

Bricolage, Permutation, Supermodified, Adventures in Foam... this guy is god damned BRILLIANT! He reminds me of a slightly less insane Tom Jenkinson, for some reason. I love the way he produces his beats, great quality.

Listen to Ophecks, he's a smart man.
Also check out Cujo - Adventures In Foam
That's Amon Tobin too, just using a pseudonym, i.e. Aphex Twin; Caustic Window

I got into Amon Tobin by accident. I was looking for Coil's version of "Closer" which had (precursor) in the title. In the search I found Amon Tobin's "Precursor", it was crazy. The track sounded like gremlins on speed doing human beatbox or something. That night I sucked up all the Amon Tobin I could find.

Has anyone heard his track Bad Sex? It's from the Xen Cuts compilation. Is it on anything else? Fans of Amon should download it if not yet heard.

Amon tobin is the hip hop, downtempo version of Aphex Twin. He uses a lot of tricks and effects, but he doesnt do drill & bass.

i dunno...some of the stuff on permutation and adventures in foam comes damn close to drill n bass...
permutation is almost like organic drill n bass...like an insane 4-armed drummer on speed was playing live drums...
