there is only one synth that canmatch tb-303 for acid, also
made by roland, older...

there are many imitators and many of them are great synths
but they are just not quite the same for some intangable
reason

SP303 doc would be better than SP404, since lots of famous
people have used it, Kieran Hebden, J-Dilla, erm..... me.
All the SP boxes are great. Really fun samplers. Would
rather lose my MPC than my SP303! No silly menus/complexity.
Just a load of backlit rubber buttons to press. fantastic!

won't run in OSX, might run in classic mode but I've never

it's the transistors.. you can't get them since i dunno
when, which is, i think, also the reason why they stopped
producing the tb-303, because they had to use new parts
alltogether
