Kraftwerk isn't (officially) booked in Italy at all this
year, at least not accoring to their website. And Florian
Schneider has left the group. And the Aphex Twins have split
up.

Good to hear that Mohamed isn't a false prophet. And I like
the organizers panegyric: AFX is described as "il demiurgo
dell’elettronica".

i blame myself for not going to one of the famous aphex gigs
in rome, i tried to fix that going to the rome comeback but
the gig was canceled abruptly, then i went to the turin one
but even if i did enjoy the dj set and i had lots of fun due
to the fact that it was my first aphex gig, but it seemed
more a cunnigham fest looking back at the time the two have
been playing. i would love to go to a proper aphex gig
before i die, into a small location not a mega festival ect

I guess he is a claustrophiliac. We will try tempt him to
southern Sweden (perhaps with beautiful women). We've had
Ceephax, Dopplereffekt and soon Squarepusher. It's soon time
for a real AFX live gig.

thats cool, squarepusher gonna play around here too, i'm
going the 17th of april. can't wait to start the warmer
seasons really, hopefully its gonna be fun.

You Italians should have your fishes pretty warm right now.
Think of us northeners, we have snow and rain and downbirth
and misery and pain, pain, pain, pain, eternal and utter
pain.

it would be hard for me to live up there for sure, but i'd
tell you, from the outside it seems that the cold does not
affect your mentality. i was talking about this with a
colleague a few hours ago, northern people seem to have a
well balanced mentality compared to the one on the south.

yes man, i'm curious about this combination and for the fact
that he's playing into a stadium, although for the same fact
i don't expect too much. let's pray that it turns into a
modern woodstock with tits on the air and free sex for all

Actually those 2 Poland gigs are not marked as DJ sets on
his agency page (littlebig something) nor are with Hecker.
So I wonder if we can expect something 'more than' a DJ set
we saw for last few years.

I have already tickets for both nights in Poland. its just
3km from my home :).

Anyway, no matter what he puts on these nights, my tits are
already his...

And yes im going to tape it (both nights). Im doing some
serious preparations for it (both audio and video) that im
going to test on upcoming Selector Festival in Cracow
(June).

i would love to go to a proper aphex gig
before i die

done √

anybody seen this on internet tv? pity, it has been the
greatest electronica show in the history of time. richard
was just incredible, a lot of unknown musics mixed with all
time classics, stunning manipulation of sounds like i never
heard aphex twin in my life. he's crafting whole genres
during his spare time i think. truly a million words cannot
describe the trip, the visuals were the gretaest as well. he
took the stadium (me) to places.

mad props to kraftwerk, it wasn't easy for richard to beat
them cos they rocked hard, with all of their best especially
'radioactivity' made me feel ridiculously good, that was
cock solid really, sublime music and visuals.

the soundsystem was perfect and the event lasted about 6
hours, there has been passarani's dj set for about an hour,
kraftwerk live for an hour and half, aphex live for another
hour and half and ralph dj set at the end (a local master of
house). circa. all the music played was perfect from the
beginning to the end, i need a new pir of legs. there were
a lot of ppl with cameras, i hope something surfaces on the
tube so you can see what im talking about.

/thrills

now that i remember, the visuals at the beginning of the gig
were about religious symbols, gold fetishes, elephant
sculptures, mediaeval gods, with some future musics playing
upon them
