No thread on this yet? Shame on you all. It will probably
turn out to be the album of the year. Thrillingly good
music.

10/10

yeah it's brilliant. I dunno why everyone doesn't rave about
these guys, their stuff is the best going at the minute (and
has been for ages). The album leaked in january but my
physical copy from snd hq arrived on yesterday. It's a bit
more chilled than 4,5,6 . . love it tho. have to compare the
leak with the actual release- i played the cd in the car
today and it sounded way more compressed and fuller than the
leak. . haven't a/b-ed tho so might be my ears playing
tricks. . .
Most people i've let hear snd find it either annoying or
boring. i just really like it. i hope mark puts another solo
album out.

this album is seriously fantastic and WAY more experimental
than anything I've heard AE put out in 4 years.

really great and sounds SO crisp on a proper pair.

He he.. SND is ...mental! I found 4, 5, 6 - which introduced
me to SND - interesting but hard to listen to. Atavism is
actually much better and delightful to listen to, for some
strange reason. Recommended!

I bought the wavs from raster... Nah, I prefer "makesnd
cassette" (and also SND 001-003!!!!), this is just beat
repeat all over the place without much substance...
