used to happen when i got really bad nightmares.
you know that feeling when you are very deep sleep (rem) and
you are waking up and it feels like you are 20m under water
and coming up to the surface?

i get that feeling in my dreams (nightmares) and think i
'wake up' from the nightmare, but im still dreaming...and
the nightmare continues and it's fucked up...so then i
realize im dreaming (nightmare) and keep trying to force
myself to wake up...and i get that "under water coming to
surface" feeling, and i wake up...and it was just in the
dream that i wake up... and it goes on and on in cycles
freaking me out until i actually do wake up. then i spend a
few minutes convincing myself i'm actually awake.

other than that, i dream about kfc mashed potatoes
