Why? What harm has capitalism ever done to you?
Why do you think that capitalism is not capable of being conducive to personal and financial freedom and prosperity?
My pretension is that you probably don't know an awful lot about the subject. If you knew anything about the federal reserve, or the fraud of the income tax, then you would probably know that capitalism is the solution.

not just the USA it's Europe too exactly what communists etc have been complaining about for years
well now it's screwed, we will be fighting eachother on the doorstep for food before the year's out
as it is in the rest of the world it's all well and good pointing out the reasons but what can anyone do about it
The man seems to have it stitched up, you can't stand up to Him and get away with it
And this might all be by design anyway

the FAQ is funny: it even tries to settle the debate on abortion definitely, by some fancy rhetoric. True capitalism has nothing to say on abortion, and so be it.
I don't know if the free market is the answer, but it certainly could be tried in a few states, like New Hampshire (see "the Free State Project") or even Texas or some other big state, although I doubt that the socially conservative rednecks of Texas or the nanny state liberals of California or New York would ever pass such legislation.

please tell me more about the fraud of the income tax though

that capitalism.org website would be hilarious if it wasn't so depressing
Any man who murders another man, has declared that he does not accept the principle of individual rights. He is worse then an animal, as he has chosen to abdicate his reason, in order to act like an animal. He has adopted the code of the jungle, and must be dealt with like the animals in the jungle. He can make no claim to the principle of rights for protection. He deserves death.
this is wonderful

I'm not an anarchist.
I would really love to know what fucking country you live in, because I don't know of a single capitalist country in the world, and therefore all of those strange things you cited would not be caused by a capitalist society.
It's the socialist system our government runs presently that causes pretty much everything you cited there - and some of those are indeed bad things. Consumer fetishism wouldn't happen if the government didn't try to promote fake economic growth through consumer borrowing and crediting. In a capitalist system, you wouldn't be forced to go to school, though I'm not really sure why you wouldn't want to -- seems like a strange thing to dislike, if you ask me. Property is inevitable, and essential, to personal economic freedom. And mindless work... well, that would be your own damn fault under a capitalist system. But, let me remind you again, that capitalism doesn't exist anywhere in the world today.

For exemple, my job here is to make videos for youtube. It's important for me that they're free and I don't want to get paid for it. In an ideal society, would I be left to die?
I'm sure you're smart and you know there hasn't ever been any real socialist country either, and the US certainly isn't one of them.
Also, have you ever heard of social reproduction? How would a fully capitalistic society not make it even worse? Or maybe that's perfectly fair?

If you don't want to get paid, and want your work to be free, then that's your prerogative. Only a socialist would tell you that you don't have the freedom to do that. A capitalist respects individual liberties. If you were smart, you'd do something else so you weren't left to die - so if you WERE left to die, it would only be your fault. In a capitalist system, nobody stops you from pursuing our dreams so long as you are not violating somebody else's rights while doing so.
I would say the USSR was a socialist nation. And I've been to China, and would contend that is about as socialist as one could get.
Social reproduction is just the perpetuation of traditional values over a period of time. I'm not sure what is inherently bad about that, and even more unsure how one could make that "worse."
When people are free to do what they want, they prosper. Freedom is popular.
It absolutely escapes my perception of reality that some people would knowingly choose enslavement over freedom - that people, in their right minds, would rather be told what to do than do it themselves - that people would prefer being coerced into doing everything and get permission for every single thing they wish to do - and, worse of all, that people would settle for the low quality and inhumane practices of governmental intervention rather than the pure and unadulterated possibilities opened up to a society by the pursuit of one's happiness.

And in France, it's nearly impossible to get a doctor to come to the house on a Sunday, due to ridiculous restrictions imposed by a failing national healthcare system.
The French government has done terrible things to the Middle East, and has had a lot to do with the colonization of the MENA region's oil production facilities. Sure, they opposed the Iraq war, as any intelligent country would have, but they still have an awful lot at stake in Afghanistan, and have caused a lot of deaths over the years in Northern/Western Africa, as well as Pakistan, Iran, and the Arab emirates. The French have been quite the imperialists themselves - no less due to the overwhelming fact that they prefer coercion over trade - weapons and murder over negotiation.
The French are no different than the US. They follow the same philosophical platforms, and have suffered the same fates due to those beliefs. We both live in horrible, inhumane countries. Get off your high horse - the French witness the same problems Americans do each and every day.

darius, if you want to know a lot about the fraud of income tax and all that, watch Zeitgeist: Addendum. Very indepth look at money, how it works, the federal reserve, and the monetary system.
I'll grab the link in a sec.
Troutmask, March 15th Is ZDay (Zeitgeist Day), a means to spread global awareness, basically the content of both Zeitgeist films to any and everyone.

i watched that Zeitgeist thing, I think this utopian idea that have for humanity sounds pretty cool , but they are forgetting that humans being are naturally greedy, cruel and egotistical and that is not propaganda that fact, look back thousands of years to cave men, there is evidence (from good sources) that humans were evil, selfish and greedy before we had TV and media things.
Even with nano technology, it might provide us with everything we ever need. but who owns land? people will start getting greedy one way or another. unless you bring power and authority back into the equation.
education isn't always the answer to everything, you can't take away free will, if someone wants to kill you with their custom made nano pistol for banging his wife, then you have a problem again.
human being will always find a way of being greedy, even when you give them everything. I believe allot of problems will be from our egos and women, jealousy, resentment, our natural need for dominance and so on
anyway, what do i know i'm just some kid from northampton
