have you seen the Speaking of Now tour yet? have you heard (good reference to the song) the new album yet? i saw the burlington, vermont show, and the toronto show and both were extremely good. i have the toronto show copied to cd if you are interested. shipping and cd prices to be paid, but I'll do it for you no problem. j |

My life has been buck wild and I wasn't able to get to the Rochester New York show (even though I bought tickets). I have my oral defense for my doctoral work on April 4th. The sky is falling. How is the new horn player? Did you hear how they found him? |

yeah, good story. imagine playing with one of your favoirte artists because he called you up and said, "I love your stuff" He did a great rendition of scrap metal (a variation on the tune offramp). he was sampling himself and playing over what he had just played. and his solos are quite hauntingly beautiful. did you hear the new stuff? |

both... it is breathtaking... and like all pmg releases, it gets better with time. as it is, (track 1) is some of the best writing that methenymays has done, the gathering sky is beautiful and dynamic, you takes you by surprise, on her way is joyful, proof is hardcore, afternoon is funky and groovy, a place in the world is kind of like first circle... THIS IS A MUST HAVE PMG album. |
