also for older type iMac users:
Me and a team are presenting some things at an exposition next week, and i was wondering if the iMac could be used as an external monitor.
Basically, there's a simple ASUS laptop that displays a Flash menu that directs to a shortfilm, and to an image archive that i programmed. Now, we want a huge screen hooked to the laptop instead of putting the laptop there, and someone in the team preserved an iMac. And now i'm wondering wether you can hook this thing to the laptop as an external screen.
Can this be done? If not, then it's no problem, i'll just try and run a php mysql server and stuff on the iMac so we can show the archive, but the external monitor way saves a lot of time.
