but then gradually over the years become more and more of a
twat until one day you have to just sit down and say to
yourself, right, i can't see this person anymore, it's not
an enjoyable experience, i'd rather be walking the streets
on my own than spending any time with this individual

Yep. Feel like that about loads of people. Best advice is
bite your lip or you will be like me and have no friends
left, sonny.

Yep, happened to me. Over the span of about 6 years, the
person in question turned increasingly into a jealous
fucking cunt, before finally stabbing me in the back in
spectacular style. Good riddance.

im going through a similar experience right now. my best
friend from high school and I simply no longer share similar
interests. We've lived in different cities for the past 6
years. Our last two meetings have not been enjoyable for me.
I feel bad, but what can you do?

i think the best thing we can do is cut our losses and move
on

I used to like you, but not any more. You've changed

I had that with one guy, only within the timespan of 7
months. Do like i do really, ignore the fucker, he'll get
the hint sooner or later unless he/she is REALLY stupid.

I had 3 friends last year that I continuously hung out with
and had a blast with over the course of my junior and senior
year. It is now that I realize that they are all deceptive
fucks. Having friends turns into a great bore eventually.

"Having friends turns into a great bore eventually." Do you
mean that? Or are you just being an idiot?

Depends on the friends JivverDicker. I'm speaking of the
ones I constantly fight with or just get annoyed and fed up
with and move on to other people.

i'm all for having lots of superficial relationships. all
that 'deep' stuff is just another kind off bullshit anyways

as Baz Luhrmann said with his 1999 #1 single

Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious
few you should hold on.

People are mostly shit, but finding a true friend is worth
the effort and failed relationships. Like GoDel said about
"deep" relationships being bullshit, I've had friends that
I've known for years who talk about "having my back" and
such, and I know that if the shit were to ever hit the fan,
they'd be the last people I can rely on. Does that make me
curse friendship in general? Of course not. Friendship is
the best and most important thing in the entire world.

expounding social issues in an idm forum is like discussing
your finances with a preteen. waka waka.

I usually get bothered after a while, you can't eat
chocolate mousse all the time without getting sick of it no
matter how much you like it, yes I compared people to
chocolate mousse.
