im going through a similar experience right now. my best friend from high school and I simply no longer share similar interests. We've lived in different cities for the past 6 years. Our last two meetings have not been enjoyable for me. I feel bad, but what can you do? |

People are mostly shit, but finding a true friend is worth the effort and failed relationships. Like GoDel said about "deep" relationships being bullshit, I've had friends that I've known for years who talk about "having my back" and such, and I know that if the shit were to ever hit the fan, they'd be the last people I can rely on. Does that make me curse friendship in general? Of course not. Friendship is the best and most important thing in the entire world. |
