Dis reckid got teh glitched out beatz.
Seriously, its like VSnares but with a melody! Pretty cool production, too...
I can't find any website that contains information about the album... Amazon.com doesn't sell it... but I did find him listed on Last.FM, which led me to discover that his name is Calum S. Gunn, and that he's primarily a vocalist who currently sings for a pop band in Glasgow called "Dananananaykroyd" (so says Wikipedia).
The album was released on Sublight Records (now defunct), and I guess it's not in production anymore. You can download it from Demonoid here. I recommend a look-see at it.

Found him on myspace one day, he just set up shop, asked him if I could release something of his on my net label. I did the artwork for this.

Doesn't seem to be to hard to recreate, not knocking Calums style or anything, just making music that is very similar I can tell you it has a lot to do with the shakers in between the kicks and the snares. It gives the illusion that a lot is going on. Plus once you start putting gates one the drums it really adds too it.
If you are clever with the hi hats it adds that extra bit if frenzy.
I prefer cutting them all up and doing it from scratch. dbglitch is cool, but it's easier to just do it the way I've been doing it for years.

Meh, generative beat cutting is the way to go. Nick Collins' BBCut2 patch is absolutely the most amazing technique I've ever personally utilized...

Oh I hope I'm not coming off as one of those anti beat slice VST guys. It's all the same to me. I actually use dbglitch a lot for most things these days, but for amens it's quicker for me to track em.

No, but I'm an anti beat slice VST guy... =D
It doesn't matter what kind of sample I'm using - even for the Amen, I'm generative all the way. You should give it a shot - nothing else does it other than BBCut2.

Yeah, but it's also available as a VST patch I believe...
LiveCut VST Plugin
It uses the same engine and algorithmic structure as BBCut2, but in the handy form of a VST patch. I can't endorse it, though, since I've never personally used it. Worth a try, at least!
