yeah the bloc is very impressive - looks much more tasty
than bangface which i really wanted to go this year. still
125 pounds is a lot of money...

"..and Aphex Twin (to be joined on stage with Hecker) are
the main acts announced so far."

Very good line-up. I will try to go to this!

why Richard into gore? i dont care it just seems unlike him
to be gruesome.

maybe its just an artistic statement but if i saw that at a
show i would want to leave.

I think it was him bravely saying "I'm Aphex Twin, you
may remember me from the '90s when you may have seen and
heard things like this"

you mean like the world is different now than in the 90's,
so today's world calls for a harsher approach to have the
same effect as he did in the 90's? It just seems it's
entered into like something you'd see in a bad Hollywood
movie of the future like the matrix or something. Maybe it's
just not my taste is all.

(like the bad hollywood movies depicting grungy, scary,
underground nightclubs with gore and disturbing
atmospheres)

I don't know why i can't get into that stuff, it's not that
it isn't happy enough or anything like that, i don't like
being unrealistic about life, but that imagery and feeling
is something maybe i just learned in school to not find
attractive, and i think it's better that way?
