I've spent two days trying to dig up some intros and
instrumental big band, swing, and jazz loops, but my luck
isn't going so well. Is there anyone here who can help point
me in the right direction? I don't currently own a record
player or any of the records I used to have so ripping sound
from that is out of the question. Any help is much
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

if you can find a collection of music from old cartoons like
loony tunes or merry melodies i bet you'd find a whole host
of gems.
