i have no idea where i got this phrase from, but i've been repeating it to myself the last couple of days. inside my head i've been seeing a donkey in full astronaut gear walking around on the moon. surely it means something, right? right?! |

you know how there are all sorts of different names for particular groups of animals? like swarm of bees, pod of dolphins, gaggle of geese, etc. so at the weekly pub quiz every time there would be one question asking what the name of a group of x is. so i started studying. and studying. a crash of rhinos. a barrel of monkies, an exaltation of larks... the list goes on. then i came across the best name ever. nay, the best anything ever. a group of ferrets is called a BUSINESS. so from now on, for the rest of my entire life, i am forever cursed with the unbelievably adorable image of a bunch of ferrets, sitting around a big oak conference table, all dressed in miniature ferret-sized suits. i'm so overcome by this that i am actually having an illustrator friend of mine paint the scene for me, with allusions to both the dogs-playing-poker picture and the last supper. i can't wait. |
