of course, because djing is always about playing what's brand new and super elite, not what sounds good.
seriously, i get it, you don't like what i spin. now stay the fuck out of my threads and go fuck off somewhere else with your shitty handbag house for ladies.
oh, and thanks for the bump.

look, i don't see the difference between you and any other beatport chart dj - i bet you are fond of the low cut as well? just kidding, ill stop now, each to each own as they say..

wow, did you really just talk like a low end cut is a bad thing? i'd like to see you make a good sounding mix (regardless of whatever sleepy shit you spin) without any eqing.
also, i check out the beatport charts like once a month and most of it is gaff. i play what fucking sounds good, it's hard to have a mix full of chart toppers when you have a track list which spans almost 12 years.

why do i always engage in discussions like these, this a personal mistake of mine - this comes out of boredom, i should really get some work done instead.
good luck with your djing hedphukker, its not always an easy task and i understand that there is probably money to be found when playing music like that. i've just never really cared too much about that aspect of playing as a dj. there is no need to be so defensive about it, you are playing crowd pleasing music that everyone who doesnt give a shit about music will like - there are tons of djs like that.. just not on xltronic.
there are even places on the internet where the music you play is highly appreciated, im sure you could gain some popularity if you direct your mixes the right places. the low cut thing was a bit of a joke, i haven't heard your mix, but i imagine thats an integral part of it.. you know, making a semi peak taking out the bass and putting it on again.

i'd down this if you had jumbled the tracks a bit more, i understand that doing chunks of genres in one mix is one way, but i've found that putting everything into it at the same time is more fun. but thats my angle on it, keep at it sir. all the best

i'm only defensive to you, because it seems that every thread in which i post a mix you feel the necessity to pop your head in and make some unnecessary backhanded comment about the relevancy of what i play.
me posting this isn't me trying to promote here, hence the first sentence in the whole thread. i know what people listen to here, i've been here for quite a while. as a matter of fact, that's why i post it here. and neither am i looking to make a buck at it. money is the least of my dj worries (real world worries on the other hand...)
and the comment about this being music that "everyone who doesnt give a shit about music will like" just makes you sound like moron on top of being a prick. i'd like to see how many people who you consider to "give a shit about music" don't rate amon tobin, chromeo or the avalanches.

just to clarify, when i say "that's why i post here," "that" refers to the fact that i've been here for quite a while. this a community i very much feel a part of, and whether people are receptive to it or not, i want to make my art available to said community.

oh, and thanks for the comments vlr. i really started out trying to cram as many genres as possible, but i just came across so many bpm restrictions (house sounds awful at 180, glitch hop awful at 120, etc), hence this mix. this is me trying to string together a consistent flow while moving from one bpm/style to another.
btw did i miss any new mixes while i was away from the internets?

fair enough, and i've decided to down it anyway because "fick" is such a great tune. bmp-restrictions are a pain, and i cant wait till you can keylock any track without it sounding shit.
i might've made and uploaded a few mixes. easiest is just to check the blog i've linked in my profile i guess
