yeah - in fact i don't know many acts who actually play live. or they say they play live when they are just playing their own mp3's from ableton. in fact 90 % of artists i know do it that way. actually ok - faking doing it is like the worst thing you can do ever. but on the other hand - admit that you will be more satisfied by a guy pretending to move some sliders and push buttons on stage instead of seeing just the back of a screen of the laptop. the guys possibly don't have any idea how to make their sets more "live" (which is of course possible) so they have to improvise. |

If you can't play live, then you shouldn't be "playing live". Go out and spin your own tracks or whatever, but don't pretend to be performing live music. Because its fucking stupid. |

yeah, i've heard daft punk latest tour was a... CD played. honstly i dont care, i like both daft punk & justice. there are loads of real "live" musicans who plays terrible stuff, so even if its memorex, do the dance & da funk sounds fucking great. |
