hardcore and electronic. And not cheesy at all. Fuckin'

VAST and FrontlineAssembly are discussed plenty on
Industrial related boards..rec.music.industrial..etc..but
currently people listening to this kinda stuff seem steeped
knee deep in rivers of molten testosterone...and I came here
to get away from that..

hevquip, yeah i agree. its the only VAST album i have but i
think its a really original album. Unlike most of the
current nu-metal crap but lets not get onto that : )

again and again.

Edward Ka-spel, his solo work is godly. I don't know if
you'd consider his work electronic, sings he does drop some
vocals on many of his songs, but there's definitely a lot of
electronic/ambient elements in the mix.

offline eXXailon from purgatory on 2002-03-28 23:03 [#00147774]

Fluke is great. Or was great (they don't exist anymore,
although there were rumours that they were doing some shit
in the studio again)
More traditional breakbeat and techno. Awesome.
Check: Amp, Goodnight Lover, V six, Dirty Little mouth

willing to discuss em..FLA I own most of their albums..but I
dont wanna discuss em here..or anywhere for that
matter..they are just a bit redundant and obsolete..

I love Sigur Ros. Recently been listening to Godspeed and
it gets more epic everytime I listen. Used to think they
were quite boring, but that was only due to my short
attention span. Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada is currently
in regular rotation.

chulk (a post mp3.com artist sounds like mini cuter bite
size later autechre, fantastic)

crunch- well, at least people besides me don't mention it
much...

telefon tel aviv- really great parts unfortunately sometimes
mixed with average parts

mp3.com/dannn - I heard he might be on schematic soon, some
of the songs are worthy I think

phluidbox- has some good songs on mp3.com but even better
ones shared on soulseek (event cube part 1 and 2)

I think almost all the lyrics off front line assemblies
Implode album are garbage, the best ones even "nothing,
nothing seems to matter... the rain, begins to fall...
nothing, nothing to believe in... even, angels learn to
fall" he's rhyming "fall" with "fall" lol
And then there's the use of complicated words that don't
really make that much sense in the sentences they're used
in... I think "drill" is the best by bill leeb and friends.
"flavour of the weak" track 3 is great too, it's really
"abrasive"
