I basically know nothing except the gist of it (try to make your site appear at the top of google search results and get money by making people click on adsense ads, unless I'm wrong), so feel free to talk down to me or tell me really obvious things. For example search google for 'aphex twin' and xltronic is the 3rd link. Does this mean that phobi-wan-kanobe paid for the 'aphex twin' key word, or does it just mean the site is in 3rd place in terms of how many other sites link to it? watmm is first for 'aphex twin' + 'forum'. Like one naive idea I have is just go to google page creator (pages.google.com) since they allow the creation of free webpages, unless that's a bad choice, and make a website with a messageboard for tons of different things and slap adsense ads on each. Like here's a website/messageboard for, um, let's say hummingbirds. Here's a website/messageboard for, um, let's say goatse man. Another for aphex twin, another for ghostbusters, etc etc. Then an army of messageboard fags (like all of us) will be magnetically drawn to each WITH NO ESCAPE (I know from experience) and write tons of stupid shit in the messageboards. Oh, thanks for building my site with your text assholes, I'll collect the adsense if you don't mind. Is that how it works? I'm just researching this and don't know if I'm serious yet. I would simply search google on how to build a website.. but.. no, that results in spamming asshat links that want me to click on their adsense ads rather than inform me. The google result is purely automated by google, and you can at best influence it with things like SEO (search engine optimization.) The best way to get high ranked is to have proper real content on your website, and many sites linking to you, and it also helps if they have a high page rank. Yeah by the way, all sites in google are ranked, from 0-10, sites like wikipedia and google.com have pr 10 and thus will go on top of many results. Most sites start out with a pr of 0 and work their way up by building backlinks. Many things influence your PR and site ranking, for example the url itself (aphextwin.nu) and how your content is formatted and coded. Clean proper code which can be easily read by googlebot results in easier ranking. Also, the problem with making a google pages website is that you have way less customization than you do in a proper webhosting environment. And Im not even sure they allow adsense (but they probably/might.) A much better solution for you would be to use my server. I have a 100mbit server in netherlands, which is dedicated hardware and all. I host many websites already and it will give you a lot of room for expansion. I would offer this for free as well.. This topic though is a huge one though, and I can't write it all here. |

Like, you have to 'register' a domain name? With who, your internet service provider? Then what, I guess you somehow use software to make an html file (probably offline), then upload that file to the domain? I'm surprised so many people know how to do all this crap. |

I'm really only interested in a big money making scam. There are things like pyramid schemes from the past that have since been declared illegal mostly.
