k, well.....

sorry looking man...

all basy and chimey to start off with, then some plane
noises and stuff. stays the same for about the first minute
then some piano melody which is kind of high pitched and
sometimes irritated. same whistling noise in the backround
which can also become a bit of a pain. the melody would be
really sweet if it was done right, though. sort of quiet
beat comes in soon after, same whistling noise! i dont like
that bit!, i think the beat should stand out more for one
thing, and be a little bit faster, because at the moment its
just bum, tick, bum, tick, and it was more
experimental/faster would be pretty good. To sum it all up,
this track is *ok* just needs a bit of work IMHO, but hey,
what do i know?!

the snowflakes song? awesome man, thanks for listening

by the way I liked your demo song as well. I love really
glitchy, weird stuff liek that, reminds me of bucephaleous
bouncing ball in way, a good one.

lol, cheers dude. i decided to hear a few more of your
tunes, heres what i think... (note - u dont have to pay any
attention to what i say!)

bassrvb mixed.1 - cool strings and computer effects to start
off with. the beats pretty cool, but sort of minimal to
begin with. it gets a bit more complex, but not as
experimental as i like usually, still cool sounding though,
i like the melody very much also, then some nice bass comes
in, gives it a nice touch. this is a really cool tune, but
the only thing id say that lets it down is the beat, just
because of my personal preferences, theres nothing wrong
with it, its just me probably ;)

340 meters/second - noisy intro, then some kind of hip hop
ish beats and pan-pipe-ness. the beats are nice to chill to,
as in the previous tune, but woah! i love the synth over the
top! thats really sweet! i like how you've mixed the genres
in this tune, hip/hop ambience and so on. kind of minimal
beat again though, which hip hop fans would be into. this is
probably the best tune ive heard so far, just because of the
wobbly synth effect! :)

Bernstein vs. Leland - scary sort of mood to start off, then
some trancey type beats and melody. oh no! seems all is lost
in mainstream trance shitness, but the beats sort of
irregular, so i can forgive u for that, hehe. perhaps not
the best tune youve done, ill put it that way :s

a tick in the head - starts off loudish aphex classics-era
beats, which are cool. i do like this tune, the laser sounds
are perhaps a bit loud but apart from that i cant fault it.
melody's ok, does remind me of "flaphead" by the twin
though. yeah, i think perhaps the laser sounds a bit too
loud, sort of drowns out the melody a bit. very harsh tune
to listen to, which i kinda liked :D

crappy song=record deal - LOL i just wanted to hear this one
cause of the name! i do liek the bubbly thing at the start,
a bit like logon rock witch (or is that just me?) teeth
clattering melody, and again the hip hop beats? are u a
hip-hop fan by any chance? nothing wrong with

sorry it didnt let you finish, but im really looking forward
to reading the rest. as a matter of fact i am a hip hop fan,
im really into turntablism stuff (dj shadow, invisible
skratch piklz, madlib, peanut butter wolf, etc etc) In 340
meters/second though, that pan pipey thing is really tuning
forks. I got an octave of tuning forks from my physics
teacher to use in the song.

Quelnt
thanks again man

i am listening to your stuff now..wont let me stream mp3 so
its 16kbps real my opinions are based on..Sorry Looking Man
is very nice..I like how all these elements so disparsed are
coming together..I mean the bass line suggets a fast ebm or
techno..the beat is laid back trip hop..and melody..slightly
erratic but very pretty still..and yet they all meld
together as song progressed...my only critique..it's a tad
too long and repetitive...I would trim about a minute off
it..but yeah v.good

bassrvd mixed..once again similar structure..seemingly in
cohesive elements..this time an erratic rhythmsand a looped
strings followed by a high octave synth repeating the string
pattern..the song doesnt really kick in for me till the bass
part kicks in followed by the melody..then it's..yummy
:)..my critique this time..It wanders with just that drum
part (not the strongest part of the song) just a bit too
long before the lovely melodies and bassline kicks in..once
again a bit of editing will spruce up this song nicely...
Snowflakes wiggling up my windshields..nope didnt do much
for me..sounds like rhytms excercises waiting for a song to
happen..
