Yeah it is a bit Been working on this for a week, sounds really pimp, but it's unfinnished because i can feel the afxness creeping in to this track way too much and am undecided as to where to take it next. Do you think it sounds different enough or should i move away from this track before it becomes an alright/meh version of a bigger mans magic? |

I mean esp the bit towards the end. I honestly didn't mean for this track to end up going all tussy with the bass/melody, it was supposed to be like the beginning but with more built over it. That drukqs style square plonk sounds like such a rip off. The drums don't sound too aphex to me. BTW are the drums phat enough or do they sound a bit basic/papery? |

It is pretty lovely so far. The only place to take it next is lengthening that last section, rephrasing the beginning with fancier drum work, then moving into hefty glitch stuff which is a fucking headache on reason 2. |

it is nice. it does have the tuss/vibert funk thing going, but thats ok. you do some leads and basswork that is very much just you... add some of that in and it will have more of your signature sound, and will distinguish it from what the other acid funk guys are doing. |

OK. So if i throw in a bit more of my kind of leads or sumting i can set it apart enough? I think youre right i just need to find a way of making it all fit. |

Recycle is your friend glitch wise. That's how i used to do it in reason 2 anyway. Dr Rex is awesome. : ) |
