It sounds pretty awesome. I like the idea of redesigning web-browsers from the ground up... I didn't read the whole thing but there were a number of attractive features listed in the 15-20 pages I did read. I didn't even know Google was making a browser, thanks for the heads up!

i tried it and i loved the interface.. very minimal and out of your way..
however, this can be accomplished in other browsers as well, so realyl the only thing i see is the back end internal stuff like the sandbox for each tab, and v8..

On Windows, it appears to be the guts of Firefox with a Vista-ish skin and all the customizability missing. Think they'll ever have extensions? I doubt it. Adblock? CustomizeGoogle? That's why they're doing this - to prevent people from using those things. They want to control the user experience.
Sigh, I remember when Google was the good guy. :-/

Privacy is overrated. Individualism is negotiable. Individualism is a conservative lie disguised as a liberal aesthetic. The future of our species is a constant stream of data where the mass is all that is embraced.
Or you can embrace your iLife and unrelentlessly consume homogenized consumer products that have been meticulously tailored for your lifestyle just like they have for all your neighbors or friends.
Back to the topic, I kind of like it. Its simple and it runs fast. Can't stand the recent bookmarks window tho.

i'd rather not do that to myself. vodacom (vodafone) have avvful avvful customer support. i vovved a long time ago never to call them again. usually i end up helping the support 'technician' and i suck at computers.
anyvvay, it is generally accepted that vvifi is unreliable. even though i have perfect line of sight to the tovver.
