Hello fellows, My remix of "Corporate Cannibal" has been put up on Grace Jones' myspace The original track and some other mixes are up there too. I like what I did, though perhaps I got off the 'machine' tip of 'man-machine' a little too much. I guess the mechanical clangs, hisses and whisperings of some beautifully ugly places I had just visited possessed my tastes rather overwhelmingly during that period. |

I may have done, briefly. I can't remember... :-) If he was the amazingly dressed man staring at a screen of the stage back stage, stroking his chin fairly thoroughly for a good long while, I was too scared to talk to him. It was all quite stressful, though, because the Festival Hall was running over 3 hours out of schedule. I had a 1 minute 'sound check' just as people were coming in. |

Haha! That won't have been him. Chris does loads of tours and he was telling me about the new Grace Jones one that he did for a bit. The amazingly dressed man was who he was probably talking about, he's Graces hat designer that called lots of the shots and it was Chris that had to make it happen or get the blame. |

Ah, her hat designer! She did wear an amazing hat; some glass/crystal one which they shot a lazer at to make light bounce around the room. I'm not sure I saw him talking much; he sort of stood in watch like a Mayan god. How did your friend find the experience? I was referring to my support gig before hers for the soundcheck thing. All I did for her gig was program the synths; two other musicians played the sounds off them. |
