I'm collecting horror films. I'm building a collection. I'm currently downloading 976 evil (thanks Glasse!), ETA 1W2d. Envarkine is really good definitely my fav of the lot next to Larvae To. It's really professionally composed, i really need to get some nerdier software. How do you master your stuff cos everyone seems to get a nice fat sounding mix and mine sound papery. No one likes fucking paper. |

I just like use my laptop's headphone output and stereo split it to a Mixer, then i have some Aux effects to fuck with, so theres not just the laptop. And then just use either a Minidisc or Tape to record it, then get it to Audacity, then export to Mp3 then use this program Switch to get it 320 kbps. I also dont just use ableton, even though i do sometimes, but i use Plogue Bidule alot, to just fuck with different stuff, or channels in ableton, Plogue is really cool once you get into it, Its like audiomulch kind of |

i just use reason 2. i have reason 4 but it's on this shitty laptop and the screens too small and the soundcard is meh and the mouse is a dell touch pad that glitches all the time. I need to sort myself out cos all i know is reason, sometimes you lot make me wonder if i love music enough. Because of my insistence on reason i cannot reverse things, make glitchy buzz sounds, or do anything too idm cos it's a fucking hastle to balance the different devices and changing anything too much throws that balance off. I'd love it if reason had some kind of halion style drum machine ting that can do those IDM buzz things even though i'd only use it a lil. This is the bit where you tell me i should work harder and do more. I should at least educate myself in better terminology than 'IDM buzz sound tings'. I have managed to define a pretty unique sound on reason so i'd like to stick with it but there are a lot of limitations. I'll cope. |
