I guess the term house is pretty wide ranging. The stuff I like most is like Daft Punk, and even some Basement Jaxx, stuff like that, and not so much trance type stuff. :P |

I do this type of thing all the time. I hear a bands name mentioned, the name sounds interesting, or maybe in the context that band is related to another band I like, and I go out and buy a cd without ever listening to a song of theirs before hand. Doesn't always work out too well! :P |

i second luomo. the music's more minimal than the type of house that, say, basement jaxx makes, but it's definitely danceable and groovy. get 'vocal city' and 'the present lover'. |
