what do you think is going to be powering your IDM musics in
the next 40 -50 years?

pedal power?

a fart to electric apparatus?

your heart muscle?..aww soo sweet :)

a wrist motion to electric convertor?

or simply we wont need energy cause we all be dead?

please tell us your thoughts!

plain and simple, nuclear.

It pretty much the only viable non fossil fuel based energy
source we have, and really it aint all that bad at all.

when melodyne comes out in fall, if it works, it will change
everything, the biggest new potential in music for about 15
years?

With the musical knowledge that 99.666% of the people who
will pirate melodyne have, the program will be used to turn
every note in a chord into octaves, fifths and maybe, MAYBE
a minor or major third here and there. It will be the
ultimate tool of boredom and homogeneity. Music will suck so
hard people desperate to escape the monotony will turn to
car crashes, birdsong and farting contests. Some will gouge
out their cochleas.

WOW

is this the answer to our energy problems? hahaha i feel
rather tingly. extract below taken from john christie article rex research

Relying on the attraction and repulsion of internal magnets,
the Lutec 1000 operates continually on a pulse-like current
24 hours a day - producing 24 kilowatts of power - once it
is kickstarted from a battery source. The device is more
than 500 per cent efficient, compared to a car which is less
than 40 per cent efficient and loses power through heat and
friction. No powerlines would be needed to distribute energy
from the individual power sources. There is no heat, harmful
emissions or airborne matter in the transmission. If it were
not for the magnets, which have a life of 1300 years, and
the battery pack, which has a life of about five years, the
machine would be in perpetual motion.

i saw an article in a mag that presented a concept
of powering the club via dancing people on a prepared
dancefloor. no joke :P
