If your new to Aphex Twin, then youll probably want to hear I Care Because You Do, or the Richard D. James Album. Those tend to be the most popular among newer Aphex Twin fans. They are great albums. But not my favourites. Youll grow into more of his stuff in time, its hard sometimes, he does tons of stuff and lots of it differs from the rest. So check it out! |

Just buy whatever you can find in the shop, itll be great for sure, but I prefer his newer music, like Windowlicker, Come To Daddy and such |

yea buy what you can, search things from warp & rephlex, squarepusher, boc, bogdan raczynski, yee-king, j.p buckle, autechre, LFO, mira callix, u-ziq, slang bang va loon is out !! ex. comilation ! |

Mike: actually... all these peopless suggestions are good. But, rather than go out and just buy one ASAP, why not search the net and sample out a few tunes?. Then you can get a feel for what you want, and like. Just a though. |

The first Aphex album i got was the RDJ album, I agree with these guys, I would check out his newer stuff first. Also, I just picked up Squarepushers 'hard normal daddy' its my favorite one so far, definately worth picking up. If you use napster, you might want to try and find Aphex Twins peel sessions as well, very good stuff. |

the first aphex album i got was saw85-92, and it's still my favourite out of them all... i just love those funky analogue beats... but as a first album to buy, try to get come to daddy, it shows most of the different styles he does... if not, get i care because you do. |
