we remember the wolfman

we didn't experience skyfarmer, but we've read all the
archives

the days before registered user names and of aphextwin.nu
are like latin texts

we remember when slsk was the best source for idm

we remember when 45% of the posts on the board were about
warp artists

we remember the fanboi outcry with the release of !!! and
maximo park

we remember when k_maty permanently logged off, and partook
in "for k_maty only" but never really understood the
origins

we remember when tibbar flipped out, od posted, hysauken
(sp?)'s ruthless put-downs roamed the plains, and dog_belch
remembered his password

we remember the birth of a number of xlt babies, and the
subsequent threads full of congs

we remember when v2 went from a possibility for a parody

we remember when mods were a prominent force in the society

we remember tridenti's unpalatable initial appearance and
subsequent acceptance

we almost rubbed one out to pics of
virginpusher's gf

whatup nyukkahs

K_maty passed away, that's why we stopped doing it. Someone
here made a graffiti in respect to him.

Virginpusher needs to come back !

I remember everyone hating on each other for making better
music then one another. It slowly went from that to
encouragement which I am very happy to see now.

I was around for .nu but never got "involved", .xlt I
enjoyed, I wish there was a Renaissance, maybe for one day
we could drag people back and act like it was... 2000 and
something, but that's the desire of a sad mad who made
friends with a prostitute and just spent the night with her
watching tv. I'm not saying it wasn't fun.

"a sad man", not mad, well, quite mad, and hardly a man.

We've been out twice now, just for something to eat or a
drink.., what are the rules? I pay for food/drinks but I
don't pay for the .. time... the first time I did but
intercourse took place... now it doesn't but we still meet
up. Are we friends? Does that happen?

Man it's not that the people in 2000 were any better, it's
just the era. It was all new and exciting. Filesharing was
still really fucked up, and the music was getting better and
better.

Yes the people were cool, but it's IDM's peak of innovation
that has made things boring and not as entertaining. When in
reality, you look at some old posts and they were just as
shit as what we have now.

I think this place gets better and better to keep singing
that song...
