i'm really sorry but autechre sucked so badly, the sound was awful, i felt like autechre were not even at glade, it put me into a really horrible place emotionaly, so i went home ;( |

When I saw them at Glade a few years ago it was the same thing. I could hear people talking louder than them, and that wasn't even very loud talking. Utterly lame and quiet sounding. They're normally great, of course. |

i think i saw them that year. i thought it was quite a nice change, to have a nice, quiet afternoon day dream, aided by a lasershow. |

i'm never going to glade again becuase of that, it was becuase of the sound engineer, he was being a pussy with the levels. the bangface thing was ok, but still, crap sound, what the fuck is going on? i'm actualy very upset about this, and i want to make a complaint. next time, im going to hijack the fucking mixer and take the sound man hostage for the ae set, then you can thank me and i would be a hero |

haha i fell asleep through ae two years ago too lol! i have to agree though the levels were fucking shitty. if they don't sort it out next year that may be it for me too. it's a dilemma for them because they have to appease the desires of the surrounding villagers etc. it's a bit sad but hopefully they'll move to a different site next year :? |

fuckinghell I dunno what you're on about, Autechre were fucking amazing. maybe it wasn't as loud as it could have been but their set was one of the best music-listening experiences of my life. |

morge, i dunno man, maybe this is just me, perhaps because i wasnt really enjoying the festival as a whole, plus i was too lazy to get my ass to the front, in 2006 i managed to get on the side of the stage and do filming, i remember it being pretty mad that time, but this year i just don't know |

well I didn't see them then so I cant compare, but I guess if you weren't having a great time overall you wouldn't have enojoyed it. Luckily I was in a very receptive mood so I was 100% absorbed by them. Havign no visuals whatsoever makes perfect sense. Aside from that were there any acts you really did enjoy? |

I liked some of the bangface stuff, it reminded me of BF and i it was fun. i also like flashbulb, (i'm pretty sure he played just before dj rubbish) and daddy freddy was cool and i like the japanese invasion stuff, mental 8bit gaba hehe . i also got to see a hang drum being played for the first time in the in-spiral area. overall i did enjoy it, i just thought that the sound system in the overkill was not as good as some of the other tents. Also i should note that autechre use thier own speakers, they might be good indoors, but i think they need to reconsider using those again, unless they can power them more, or get another pair of them and put them in the back |
