agreed. dots & loops is one of the best and it is a good place to start. broadcast is pretty good, and i have haha sound and i like it, but they weren't a band i kept interested in whereas stereolab i did. |

if you just want to test the water with stereolab, get Serene Velocity. it's a compilation of different tracks from all of the albums mentioned above. And, surprisingly, for a compilation it plays through really well. |

broadcast without a doubt tender buttons. i thought work and nonwork was largely terrible, tho. stereolab, dots and loops, then emperor tomato ketchup. goddam, i hope he didn't already buy something different. pigster, tell us what you got. |

Transient Random-Noise Bursts With Announcements is their best album. Their best pop song is Cybele's Reverie. Chemical Chords is surprisingly good. |
