hi, just wondering what you guys thought of this track

re:enactment - tambores de acero

i wouldn't normally subject you all to my loud indie band,
but i thought maybe some of you might like this... or at
least be able to give me some feedback of some sort :)

The beat doesnt inspire me. Is it supposed to be harsh? It's
neither harsh or soft, it's just weird sounding. And
ofcourse it goes through the entire song without changing :(
As soon as the singing begins, it get's a lot better. Why
not cut away the first 2 minutes? They are completely
pointless i think. Cut away the boring shit, and revise the
production, and it would be a quite nice Kid A'ish track.

the beats!
thats our drummers job (in the studio) i just have a habit
of doing the demo's like this
however, i actually thought the constantly repetative drum
beat was actually quite tension building... or something...

I quite liked this :) It would sound better with real drums
though, I'd like to hear the finished thing.

I just relistened. It kind of grows on me. Still think the
intro is to long. The snare still annoys me, so i'd really
love to hear it with a live drummer, maybe with some
electronic clickety clicks on top, to create som vareity. I
really like the singing! Do you have any other stuff
somewhere else?

thats pretty much what the plan is now... sat down with the
band and we're of the opinion that if the intro stays, a lot
more needs to be happening... and there will be live
drums...

other stuff :)

tambores de acero... if i'm not mistaken, i accurately
translated "steel drums"? full title is now 'tambores de
acero, bebé!'

i like sonic youth... to some extent...
